Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 13 July 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of DryRun, an AI interview practice service available at dryrun-interviews.com (the "Service").
The Service is operated by David Beakey, trading as DryRun, a sole trader (autónomo) established in Spain, with a registered business address at Plaza José María Orense 7, 74, 46022 Valencia, Spain ("we", "us", "our").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to them, do not use the Service.
1. Definitions
Interview means a single practice interview generated for a specific role or round, purchased or accessed as a unit.
Attempt means one complete run of an Interview from start to finish, followed by a Coaching Report. Each paid Interview includes three Attempts.
Round means a stage of an interview process that you define, for example a first round, a later round, or a final round. Each Round is a separate Interview and is accessed separately.
Coaching Report means the written feedback produced after an Attempt, containing the questions asked, your recorded answers, and qualitative coaching.
Free Taster means the free, time-limited interview described in clause 4.
Your Content means the CV, job posting, context and any other material you provide to the Service, together with the transcript of your spoken answers.
School Use means access to the Service provided to students through an arrangement between us and a school or educational institution, including access redeemed by a student using a school-issued code.
2. Eligibility and accounts
2.1 You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use the Service directly.
2.2 Students under 18 may use the Service through School Use, where access is arranged by their school. Where the Service is provided through School Use, any additional terms agreed with that school apply, and those terms take precedence over these Terms in the event of conflict.
2.3 You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account.
2.4 You must provide accurate information when creating an account, and keep it up to date.
3. What the Service is, and what it is not
3.1 DryRun generates and conducts practice interviews using artificial intelligence. It reads material you provide, generates questions, conducts a spoken interview, and produces qualitative coaching feedback.
3.2 DryRun does not replicate, predict or reproduce any actual interview. The questions generated are practice questions informed by the material you provide. They are not the questions you will be asked by any employer, and no representation is made that they will resemble them.
3.3 The Service does not provide career advice, recruitment advice, legal advice, or professional advice of any kind. The Coaching Report is automatically generated feedback on a practice exercise. It is not an assessment of your suitability for any role, and it should not be relied upon as such.
3.4 We make no guarantee of any outcome. Using the Service does not increase, guarantee or affect your likelihood of being offered any position, and we accept no responsibility for the outcome of any real interview or application.
3.5 The Service is powered by artificial intelligence. AI systems can produce output that is inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. While we take reasonable steps to prevent this, you acknowledge that the questions, responses and feedback produced by the Service may contain errors, and you should exercise your own judgement in relying on them.
3.6 Nothing in this section limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable Spanish or European Union law, including mandatory consumer protection law.
4. The Free Taster
4.1 We may offer a Free Taster: a single, free, time-limited interview (currently five minutes of live interview time), available once per account.
4.2 The Free Taster uses the real Service but is limited in time and does not include the full interview, repeat attempts, or a full Coaching Report.
4.3 The Free Taster is provided "as is", and clause 3 applies to it in full.
5. Purchases and payment
5.1 Paid access to the Service is sold on a per Interview basis. One Interview costs €15 and includes three Attempts. Prices are stated inclusive of any applicable VAT.
5.2 Each Round of an interview process is a separate Interview and requires separate access.
5.3 Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. Your use of Stripe is subject to Stripe's own terms.
5.4 There is no subscription. You are not charged on a recurring basis, and there is nothing to cancel.
5.5 Unused Attempts expire 90 days after purchase.
5.6 Some students access the Service under School Use by redeeming a school-issued code. A redeemed code grants access to the number of interviews the relevant school has arranged, and no payment is taken from the student. Codes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
5.7 Pricing for School Use is agreed separately with each school and is not governed by clause 5.1.
5.8 We may change our prices at any time. Changes do not affect Interviews already purchased.
6. Right of withdrawal and refunds
6.1 As a consumer in the European Union, you generally have 14 days to withdraw from a contract for digital services concluded at a distance.
6.2 You lose that right once performance of the service has begun with your express prior consent and your acknowledgement that you will lose your right of withdrawal. By beginning an Attempt, you give that consent and make that acknowledgement.
6.3 Accordingly, where you have purchased an Interview and have not yet begun any Attempt, you may withdraw within 14 days and receive a full refund. Once you begin your first Attempt, the right of withdrawal no longer applies.
6.4 In addition to your statutory rights above, we will refund any unused Attempts on request. Attempts you have already used are not refundable.
6.5 Nothing in this clause affects your statutory rights where the Service is faulty, not as described, or not supplied with reasonable care and skill.
7. Your Content
7.1 You retain all rights in Your Content. We do not claim ownership of your CV, the job postings you provide, the context you supply, or your spoken answers.
7.2 You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process Your Content for the sole purpose of providing the Service to you: generating your Interview, conducting it, transcribing your answers, and producing your Coaching Report.
7.3 We do not use Your Content to train, fine-tune or improve any artificial intelligence model, whether our own or a third party's. We operate no model of our own. Our AI platform provider has confirmed in writing that our data is excluded from model training, and our other AI providers do not train on data processed through their commercial interfaces. See our Privacy Policy for detail.
7.4 We do not retain any recording of your voice. Your spoken answers are transcribed as you speak, and only the text is kept. Our voice provider does not retain audio either. See our Privacy Policy for detail.
7.5 You warrant that you have the right to provide Your Content, and that doing so does not infringe the rights of any third party. In particular, you must not upload the CV of another person without their permission.
7.6 We process Your Content in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8. Acceptable use
You must not:
8.1 use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of any applicable law;
8.2 upload material that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes the rights of others;
8.3 attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, any account, or any system connected to it;
8.4 reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any part of the Service, or attempt to extract its underlying prompts, models or logic;
8.5 use the Service, or any output of the Service, to develop or train a competing product or artificial intelligence model;
8.6 scrape, harvest, or systematically extract content from the Service by automated means;
8.7 resell, sublicense or otherwise make the Service available to third parties, except as expressly permitted under a School Use arrangement;
8.8 share, resell or misuse School Use access codes;
8.9 interfere with the operation of the Service, or use it in a way that imposes an unreasonable load on our infrastructure;
8.10 use the Service to impersonate another person, or to misrepresent your identity or experience for the purpose of deceiving a third party.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach this clause.
9. Availability
9.1 We aim to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or available at any particular time.
9.2 The Service depends on third party providers, including providers of voice, speech recognition and language model services. Interruption or failure of those providers may interrupt the Service.
9.3 We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service. Where we discontinue the Service entirely, we will refund any Interviews purchased and not yet used. We will also refund any unused Attempts on request.
9.4 The Service requires a working microphone, a modern web browser and an internet connection. We are not responsible for the performance of your own equipment or connection.
10. Intellectual property
10.1 The Service, including its software, design, text, and the prompts and systems that generate interviews, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property law.
10.2 We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own interview practice.
10.3 The Coaching Report generated for you is yours to keep and use for your own purposes.
11. Limitation of liability
11.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Where you are a consumer, your mandatory statutory rights are unaffected.
11.2 Subject to clause 11.1, we are not liable for:
- any employment outcome, including any failure to secure a position;
- any decision you make in reliance on a Coaching Report or any output of the Service;
- indirect or consequential loss;
- loss of profit, revenue, opportunity or anticipated savings.
11.3 Subject to clause 11.1, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the total amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Termination
12.1 You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time.
12.2 We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, or if we are required to do so by law.
12.3 On termination, clauses 3, 7, 10, 11 and 14 survive.
12.4 On closure of your account, Your Content is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to these Terms
13.1 We may amend these Terms. Where the change is material, we will give you reasonable notice by email or in the Service before it takes effect.
13.2 If you do not accept a change, you may close your account. Continued use after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law and disputes
14.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain.
14.2 If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence, and you benefit from any mandatory consumer protections of the country in which you are resident. Otherwise, the courts of Valencia, Spain have jurisdiction.
14.3 If you are a consumer, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
